LT-1 valve cover vent ?

LT-1 valve cover vent ?
My custom bent OEM hose for the passenger side valve cover vent is dry rotted and in need of replacing. Is anyone using a filter for vent and plugging off the throttle body or does this system require a vacuum to function correctly?

it doesn't need vacuum. It does need filtered air. IMO... You would be better to replace to the hose, because the vent attaches to side of valve cover and the injector cover goes on top of it.

Hi All !
I take a new oil fill cap (L98 or LTx) and bore it for the tube that comes with the vent kit from Joe's Racing. Then I press the tube into the oil fill cap. Then pop on the breather.
I don't know the price. Will have to gather all costs and then post. greg
