Default emmision problems on LT1

My 1996 corvette was 3 times the maximum emissions in California and it was parked for a while. Then I saw a video on youtube where they tested fuel injectors in a glass case side by side so you could see the atomization of all three. The bosch 3 vaporized the fuel perfectly from 20 to 140 pounds of presure while the super expensive Lucas shot steady streams and the standard corvette injector just quit. So I went to fuelinjectorconnecton.com expecting to pay a fortune and was surprised my total was $210. I had my doubts but after installing them my emissions dropped to 1/3 of California requirements and my fuel mileage went from 15.2 to 34.7 mpg on hwy. I drove from Los Angeles to Salinas and back on one tank of fuel. I put on 4326 miles and my average hwy and street is 19.4. This is with a significant power increase. If you have the stock injectors switch to the bosch 3 your pocket book won't regret it.

Nothing better than a car that runs like it was brand new.People cuss the Cali emissions laws but if your car is maintained well it should pass.Sounds like you allready got most of your investment back.I have heard of well tuned c4's getting close to 30mpg on the freeway.
