maintenance problems?

maintenance problems?
Does anyone here have large problems w/ maintenance of their corvette? I have talked witha few people andmost say that they are fine but a couple of my buddies say that C4 vettes take alot more maitenance (like engine work, etc) than most cars. I was just wondering cause i just got a C4 vette and havn't had any problems yet and hopefully won't anytime soon.

It all depends on how they have been taken care of & maintained over most if not all of thier life. There are quite a few basket cases that people have just beat the crap out of & never worried about the car. Just like so many people are treating C5s. There are many that have been maintained by someone who actually cared about the car that are in good condition. If they haven't been taken care of, it can get really ugly to the checking account real quick.

For engine work, in 2 1/2 yrs I've had to replace the radiator, water pump, EGR, fuel pump, MAF and have had the injectors cleaned. It had 96k miles on the clock and now has about 114k.
