That looks great. Good job. Thanks for sharing. Mine was painted not so long ago. Some area's already need to be touched up. This post gives me hope of doing it myself lol.
Great job Ray. I had a very nice double garage I used as a primer/paint booth where I refinished my old 76 C3. I remarried and lost it. I have the know how but don't have a place anymore. Once upon a time one could rent a booth. EPA/Fed's took them away.
Time to remove the rear bumper and time for the front? I hear the front is difficult.
I have saved your writeup as I know for sure I will be painting an old c4 donar for an ls swap and probably do some newer vette colour on it like a cyber grey or something.
congrats, major points with the wife are in your near future.
Ray, Dt, did you have an adjustment problem like this. Passenger side lines up perfect. Driver not so much.
I do, but not quite as bad. I been waiting for a nice 100 degree day to let it sit in the sun. The reason is to let the bumper warm up before I start pushing on it to get it to line up. Don't want to crack the paint! Its all part of bumper "fun".
