New battery questions! Help please!
My battery is finally RIP.. :(
So, tommorrow morning i need to go buy a new one.
Any suggestions? I need to go cheep, under $50. I'm thinking Exide, since i've had good experiances with them before.

5/16 should be the tool to remove the cable bolt. If you have set a limit on price, look for a battery that has the longest warranty. Also, try to get the largest number for CCA's that fits the budget. You should get a minimum of 650 cold cranking amps/hr.

I put an Excide in my Vette. 84 month one. Cost around $50. It has worked just fine so far. Be careful to properly realign your panel after installation, or your door may scrape it.

I'd go with a Wal-Mart battery which is pretty cheap and has 3 yr. replacement warranty and 7-yr partial warranty. These are the best deal's you'll get anywhere.
