Dana 44 is in !!
Well it happend today !!! now my 88 vette is holding a dana 44 with 3:54 gears ! replacing the dana 36 with 2.59 that I used to have !!! Now I thank all of you who posted on the topic about the support beam ! all we did was we measured the difference between the 2 danas and we moved the holes and that`s it!! every thing perfect :cool: Now the vette is alive I can smoke the tires longer, and that I like :D + now It feels much stronger pulling trough the gears ! Can`t wait to take it to the track ! :chevy to see some good E/T`s :)

No I dont have track results becouse it`s the first time that I am going to the track suppose in 28 september I am taking her !! my vette has an automatic tranny 700R4 and the Parts that I used for the swap was a drive shaft from a manual vette and a dana 44 compleated with rear end and all done I am so pleased with the results so far !!! Can someone please tell me roughly what my E/T times gona be ? my mods that I done are in my signiture + I am going to add some slicks !!! Hope for High 13`s :rolleyes:
