Modifying cylinder volumn in bin
Has anyone modified the cylinder volumn in the bin to match the cc of their particular engine setup(strocker motor)? I have a custom chip from one of the tuners and the cylinder volumn was not modified to match the cc of the motor. Is this something which is not modified. If someone did modify their cylinder volumn, what affect did it have on the tune of tour vette? thanks!!

Mine are left stock. I have honestly never seen a tuner's program that they changed this (and I have seen a few).

I changed mine. I read a good piece on the thirgen forum about it. The ECM uses this to help is calc. fuel. This guy explained the whole thing on how the ECM calcs. the fuel/air and how it uses each part of the programing to do this. Is short the ECM needs an idea of how much air can possibly go into the engine to help it figure fuel/air. I changed mine for the 383 and it works.
