Need help on connection

1989 stock with auto trans

In the process of putting my engine back together, and I can't remember what hose connects to the metal tube on the rear of the manifold, just before the distributor, location shown in picture. I took lots of pictures, but none of mine help. Looked in FSM and good not find it

Never mind, I found it. It connects into hose that connects to cooling system. Don't really know what it does

You got it, very little. I see you reused your T-40 torx head bolts. I had one torx bolt round out and had the cut/chisel it off.

I had same problem. I had to replace two of them with hex head bolts. I got lucky, one I was able to back out with torx tool, but on the other I was able to hammer in an Allen wrench tool and back it out

I removed the torx stud after I pulled the head off. Took anti-rust spray, 24 hours, and Vise grips to pull it out of the head. Went back with ARP's with a 3/8 inch cap. Never again. Did you have any porting done?
