I've used old 'rubber' floor mats under the leading edge of my RhinoRamps.
This reduces the scooting but not completely.
The ramps have a 0.5" dia hole near the leading edge that can be used to anchor the ramps to the ground, but I've never done that.
The RhinoRamps are 11.5" wide x 7" high x 39" long. They fit under my 84 vette and are perfect for oil changes etc.
I have a 4" high slab in the garage that steps down to the garage floor. I built a plywood and 2x4 platform extension that now I butt the ramps against.
:cry Thanks alot, I just got that lift out of my head, now I gotta go cry for another week cuz the sheriff (I mean wife) won't let me have one... :D :cry
I drilled two holes in the floor of the garage in front of where each ramp goes, when I need to use them I put a cut piece of rebar in each hole and put the ramps against them. This also helps make sure they are lined up properly each time and keeps them from sliding. :yesnod:
When not in use I put a piece of cardboard over the holes, that way the wife won't find out, she thinks the cardboard is to check for oil leaks...
I got the Rhino Ramps for $30 from Wal-Mart. They work like a champ! I added a piece of wood under each one to get an additional 2" of lift. They're perfect since my airdamn is about ½" fron the ground and it's IMPOSSIBLE to slide a jack under it. I actually changed my oil and didn't get messy AT ALL. Maybe I'll detail the underside of the car next. :D

I built these from Arisa"s plans but changed most of the 2x4's to 2x6"...I just felt better about it...Have used them to drop the driveline and they work slick. One of the best $100 investments I've made. If you are thinking about building a set, send me email and I'll tell you what I improved.
If you don't have the old rubber floor mats, sweep the floor really good where the ramps are placed and mop it. This will limit slipping.
No matter what you do, you should always use your parking brake when driving onto the ramps. This way the front wheels don't lock up when you get onto the ramps and push them forward since the parking brake uses only the rear wheels.
