Where is my Factory Air Conditioner Orifice and rubber o'ring location. Do ya’ll know which color tool it takes to separate the lines?
Would you guys happen to know to the part number for the Orifice tube? Thanks in advance for your help.

It`s in the line at the evaporator inlet. Colored wrenches not necessary. Use two open end wrenches of the correct size or two crecsent wrenches firmly adjusted. New O-ring. Don`t over tighten.

GM spec'd the same orifice all years C4 BUT you not mentioning the year it's difficult to maybe advise. If this was a 12 to 134a or alternate refrigerant some like to change the orifice.

A GM # 3033879 was OE/GM all years.

The orifice "drops in" and you should be able to see the crimp that's used to position it correctly.

- BTW, there is a "special" tool to R&R the orifice tube itself. it can be done without the tool, but there is a chance of damaging the orifice tube itself. bought mine at summit racing for about $7.
