Default item I.D.

hey everyone

I wanted to move this box on top of the compressor but I am not sure what it is or even if I can/should move it - There are connections for a fuel hose right behind it that I need to replace

any help would be greatly appreciated

thanks Sean

the part you are referring to is an air injection control valve and part of the emission system. you can move or remove it, however i'm not sure what exactly your question is - if it for repairing a fuel line, disconnect things, unbolt things, move things, and repair. reinstall to stock configuration. it just boils down to nuts and bolts....

BTW, when posting a question, ID the year of your car. from the pics, looks to be an 85 or E86.

thanks - I just wanted to make sure it was not part of any A/C stuff just because of its placement - sorry forgot to put the car id - 1985 - moving that may allow me to leave the compressor in place for now

thanks very much

Sean
