He told me he wasn't use to seeing c4s at his school in as good as shape as mine. Even had stock mufflers on it. I found person in my area that refinished all four wheels for 300.00 total including painting the dark areas the same color as car. I added 1/2 inch high lip on rear deck to make very small spoiler
It looks great! What a treat it must have been to have an audience with Gordon Killebrew. What's the next project for it?

The front bumper area has a lot of small rock chips from before I bought it. I got spray gun kit for Christmas so I am going to give it a try. I painted the small front fender over where the battery goes, And it turned really good. I doubt I will ever really be done. Enjoy working on it since it's not my daily driver and it can sit for a while if need be

Gorden and his wife were great. He gave me a couple of the bird houses he makes and since he likes to collect license plates for the wall in his class room, I sent him an old plate off of one of my first Alaska State Trooper patrol cars. I think it was from my 1974 Plymouth 440 Fury

...so you were one-one with the "K-man" for two days. now, THAT would be worth the price of admission! -
