Default Flowmaster Force 2s

Installed the Flowmaster force 2s and noticed no difference in sound. Got curious and pulled them back off and listened to the sound from the main cat. No difference in sound. Got even more curious and pulled the cat. Amazing how many of those little square holes were clogged. Cranked the motor with just the precats on and the neighbors started peeking out their windows. If I gutted my Cat, which I would never think of doing,WINK WINK, Is it really neccessary to run a pipe through it like a few people have said?

It is not necessary, but I would advise to do it. It will help cut down on resonance and give the exhaust gases a straighter & more easier path to flow through.

Do it the right way, call Jegs and order a high flow direct fit cat for like $100 bucks. You'll get sound and MAYBE like 3 less h.p. than no cat. Then gut the pre cats.

Just my .02 cents.
