You know, you come off as a punk. I didn't want to say anything until now, but I should mention your avatar photo is also somewhat disturbing, as clearly you could never acquire such a woman.

And, I should mention; punk, that I have never worked for AutoZone. I am a self employed master mechanic who has owned my own business since 1996.

So, eh... Maybe you should learn to read? You may look less of a fool in the future. Oh and by the way, that battery I got "thrown in the can" over was a customers battery! Of course it wasn't mine! I read them the numbers off the battery over the phone, they said they would warranty it and then refused to do so when I showed up. They then called the police and had me arrested for trespassing of all things!

So, anything else you would like to add?

Please see inserted picture below. As to my avatar, what's your point? Could you and did you?

And I am supposed to feel what? Respect for you? I know lots of business owners including myself. I even know a guy who was a Master Guild MB tech that got sent to Germany on MB's dime. What's your point?

If you had been able to write CLEARLY without being misleading, it might make things easier. You did say "I once got tossed in the can for trying to exchange a customers battery!". Who knows if you got "canned" or what you meant.

Sorry but I have disputed many an issue WITHOUT getting tossed in the can, assuming you meant jail. Not even the police called for trespassing or causing some sort of scene, disturbing the peace or whatever it is they call it. Obviously not a lawyer so I have to guess. As a business owner, you should know better and do everything to avoid getting a legal record of any sort to the best of your abilities. I do. I'd ask "do you" but I already know the answer to that. To be clear, "YOU DON'T".

Are you 15 or something? Little kiddy meme's? Really? Well let me tell you, I sued AutoZone, and YES they wrote me a check for a battery that wasn't even mine!

That kind of makes your little meme as silly looking as you sound right about now, huh?

What is your point!? Is this a who's who or a thread about batteries? I could care less about your German buddy who worked for Mercedes Benz! I own 5 of them... SO FLIPPING WHAT!?

Oh I was quite clear in what I said... You just failed to comprehend what YOU read.

I was tossed in the can over a lying employee who lied and said I knocked a shelf over, and then got caught lying in court too. I even sued the Police Department and won, do you want to see that check too? I even sued the towing company that towed my S class Mercedes at the time I was getting thrown "in the can", and yes I got a check for that too.

Gee, I think you're $hit out of ammo brah... Think you better sit down and STFU already before you make yourself look like an even bigger fool.

So, for anyone else reading, this is why I don't recommend AutoZone.

I have had great service out of Deka batteries.I'm lucky since I have a Deka store about 15 miles from me. Most of the time I can get a blemished battery with a big discount. Most all batteries are made by Johnson controls with different brands on them. Deka makes their own...

I have had good luck with Deka batteries too. And they are reasonably priced to boot, even if not discounted for blemishes.

Don't like the pic? Try this: If you aren't blowing me or writing me a check, DILLIGAF about what you think of me?

Do tell. I haven't seen a penny from you so could you explain to me why I should give a crap of your opinion of me? When I see the checks from you, I promise to care about your opinion, just like I do with my paying clients.

I don't know. You tell me. You were just telling me that you owned your own business since 96 and are a master tech. Why exactly do I need to know that and how does it influence me?

You were ambiguous. It could have a different meaning.

Wonderful. So what's your point? You spent all that time and effort to what end? I just dispute the charge. ASSUMING you are telling the whole story and not just the favorable part, are you trying to say that they lie with every customer that comes in with a return? Why you? I had an issue like that before. Called Amex. They said to place the item on their counter and let them call me. No aggravation. He called me and made it right and I removed the hold.

Thanks for your concern. I did check up the word "brah". According to "urban dictionary" it is a slang term for "brother". I doubt I will ever consider you an associate or a brother so can we go back to "punk"? I really don't like insincerity or feigned friendships. I believe that if we can't say what we mean, we can't mean what we say. Thanks.

Outstanding point. One Autozone represents the entire chain. I have had good dealings with Autozone before. Therefore, using that logic, all Autozones are good. NAPA sold me a wrong part. All NAPAs are bad. Iin reality, I have had good dealings with many companies and a few bad with those same companies. I have never had to go to the point of being arrested, regardless of whether I felt they were being dishonest or not. Never had to give them a reason to lie about my behavior, call the cops, get booked, get my car towed, spend all that time in court, etc, etc. So please, go on. I'd rather live vicariously through people like you than actually get into that scenario. So tell me. Did you get your picture taken on with a white wall and a height measure as a background? Any "dancing with Bubba" in the shower?

Here is what I found out with my ATVs. They are used once a month except in winter. They worked fine as long as I was using them or trickle charging them. If they sit too long in the ATV without me starting it every couple of weeks, especially in the winter, they didn't do as well as the Yuasa ones. Jetskis I remove and trickle charge them over the winter but ATVs I leave outside and try to remember to start and run the machine every so often.

One AutoZone representative was represented by the entire company, and they lost. Your logic is something like that of a teenaged kid, so there is no point in entertaining your mindless prattle any further except to say I refused to pay bail and Bubba was bummed out I took his pillow and blanket. Don't make me have to take yours kiddo.

I'd say with all the AMEX talk, this guy has defiantly got to be a Democrat jacka$$... No point in arguing with this type of person because one day he is going to dispute something and AMEX is going to tell him he abuses the privilege.

Well, that would be YOUR logic, not mine. You are trying to say the entire chain is bad because one employee exaggerated the scene I suspect you made.

Wow. How cool is that. You got to spend the night in jail too. Please, go on more. I haven't spent a night in jail so I'm curious but would rather not resort to foolishness to find out. My best experience is being locked up and bailed out on a charity event so do tell that I might learn from your experience and NOT repeat it in my life.

As to taking my pillow and blanket, you are welcome to try if you are really that tough. I have met tough guys that have not talked tough and "paper tigers with a loud roar" so it would be interesting to meet someone who is BOTH tough and talks tough. I'm usually sober so you might find it more difficult than some drunk in the tank. On second thought, you do sound like the sort that would try and get shot by the cops over a dirty pillow and blanket and I pay taxes so I'd rather not waste more community resources so you can play "Macho man".

Hell, for half off, you can put a scratch on my battery. It sits in an area I can't see anyways. If it isn't a show car, nobody will see it but me or my mechanic.

Look Kid, I'm done with ya... I was done with you the moment you tried to falsely imply that I somehow worked for AutoZone. Anything after that point is simply moot.

I heard that one before. Can't say that this one impresses me any more than the last. I drew the conclusion that you worked with Autozone simply because of the way you put it. Not my fault. Maybe Hurked on Fonix can help, IDL.

Are you a foreigner? Because I'll be damned if any American I ever knew didn't know the difference between being "canned" and "being thrown in the can".

The conclusion you drew was false, and of your own ignorance. Deal with it.

Your kinda new around these parts and picking a fight within your first 50 posts is unnecessary.
How about backing it off a notch..
I'm sure you have something more constructive to contribute to this forum.

There are more slangs and terms than either of us will ever know. Therein lies the issue which brings us back to saying what you mean and meaning what you say. We do have scientific language to describe something. Surely if you are who you say you are, you have come across a customer that doesn't describe something in specific terms that can go either way. As to ignorance, I can't know everything. Apparently, you think you can.
