Buy Ed Wright custom chip?

Buy Ed Wright custom chip?
Now that my car is back and rear-end gears changed. I was planning on buy the Ed Wright chip. Will it cut the fan on sooner? I have heard varied opinions on getting a chip, but buying one specific to my setup can't hurt, right? It can only help, even if it is only marginally..

Dont buy his chip unless you are done with mods. If you just want the fans to come on sooner, get a fan switch and wire it to the main fan or get C. Marcho to burn you a chip.

I agree; get an AFPR to tune fuel flow at WOT and an aux fan sw and wire it to the main fan relay.
You can tweak the TPS base setting to give you a little better throttle response too.
