Default hints on replacing rear tail lights

when you first try this, it looks daunting. but with a couple easy hints, its easy:

1. remove rear plate and swing the screw tabs up out of the way.

2. remove the bulb from the reverse light in the direction you are going. its a press down and rotate thing. similar to say a child lock type deal. have a look at it and you can see it.

3. remove the black plastic housing that is the reverse light.

4. remove the bulb from the back of the inner reverse light.

5. if you are going for the outer tailight bulb then now remove the inner bulb housing. cant recall what they are but i think its 3/8. might be 5/8. easiest is a small wratchet. pop the housing out the hole towards the back. it will hang there by the harness.

6. then enter into the hole and reach over to the outer bulb. press the locktab in and rotate the light housing same as the first one.

honestly i hadnt seen the steps mentioned from start to finish or on either video i watched.

i have big arms. i came out with a few scratches. on the inner bulb, you DO have to press over pretty hard and pinch the soft part of the elbow socket to get to the bolt in the 1oclock position. the bolt in the 7oock position is easy.
