Anyone put an LS1 in a C4???
I have a 94 Vette with the same 4L60-E as the LS1 cars, so I'd think it would bolt up fine. But as far as fitment goes, I'm not sure. Who has done something like this?? I'm caught b/t a rock and a hard place. I want an LS1 car, but I'd hate to give up my C4 style. Getting the motor and all wouldn't be a problem, I just wanna hear from someone who has done it and if there's anything I need to know. Thanks :cheers:

Mayeb you could fit an F-body LS1 but you'd have to make more changes to a corvette LS1 I think. WHy would you want it though? Unless your engine is blown and u need a replacement I wouldn't bother for the extra 45HP just add bolt ons and be a lot cheaper and less headaches.

It was supposed to be a major headache. For example, different motor mount positions.
It can be done but its not easy. Much easier and cheaper to upgrade what you have.

Yea I've searched the forums and heard about the 84' and an 88 I believe. I know its a bitch. Everyone would do it if it wasn't :cool: I'm just throwing ideas out there :cheers:
