Underdrive pulley on 92 LT1?

Underdrive pulley on 92 LT1?
Why is it that most catalogues only sell underdrive pulleys for 91 and under and 93 and up? I have seen this mod for sale on the forum mall, but it seems like noone else sells this for a 92. I have been wanting to do this mod, but I am concerned that there may be a reason most places don't sell it for a 92.
Has anyone done this on a 92 LT1?

Hum, I haven't done this mod, but I know Corvette Central has it listed for a 92 in there catalog. I have an old catalog (1998-1999) for the C4 vettes. and on page 60 it has a high performance pulley set for it says 85 - 91, however if look down on the list below the picture, it goes up to 92 - 96 with in paren.() it says (LT1's only) 249.95

I think it has to do with 1992 using a 2 sided ribbed drive belt. As far asa I know tis is the only year that the 2 sided ribbed belt was used. With an under drive pully system you must replace the belt with a smaller belt. This might make it neccessary to replace some other pullys to accomodate a 1 sided ribbed belt.

:yesnod: If you want to replace the tensioner and the power steering pump pulley and probably the lower idler pulley you can install an underdrive pulley. Or you could try to find a shorter 2 sided belt :crazy:
