dana36 or dana44?
85 vette, 4+3, rpo #G44. Is this a dana 36 or 44? It should be 3.07 ratio? If it is dana 36, will a dana 44 fit right in? What years had dana 44? Did any come with 3.73 gear? Is there a visual difference between the 36 & 44? TIA! :cheers:

All standard shift C4's had Dana 44's
All Auto's had Dana 36's
All 4+3's had 3.07 with some of the early 84's had 3.31(?)
All 6 speeds had 3.45's except some of the early 89's had 3.54
Dana 44's have two bolts across the top and 36's have 3
