Well I was getting 140-150 BLMs almost across the board, so I used the % method to adjust my injector constant and am running ALOT closer to 128's now. Most cells are within 4-6, but a few are quite off. What is the best method for adjusting BLMs within cells? Thanks, Bob
Congrats! I would try to help out with the BLMs but I am running speed density and I think you are MAF.
On a somewhat related topic, I think that the BLMs are going mto drift up and down as soon as you start messing with spark tables. If they are a little off right now, then I wouldn't worry about BLMs being a rock solid 128 just yet. This is of course assuming that "quite off" doesn't mean you are completely maxxed or minned. Hopefully a MAF guy will jump on this one. Good luck, Matt
from what I've read and seen in my 86. you can't get them perfect. it really does not have to be perfect with the MAF system, but it should be halfway close (preferably slightly on the rich side).
If you watch whats going on at a given rpm (cruising) the ECM is constantly trying to correct, it will even go past what would be ideal and then correct things again.(side note here, you need to wait until it settles down to get a accurate reading)
so if you get it to run in a range of 124 to 132 BLMs consider it done.
IF you have a problem area, the only thing I know to do is adjust the corrisponding MAF value in the MAF tables (if someone has a better idea lets hear it).
