Default Big problem with stumbling/mis firing/stalling/backfiring

This is an excerpt:
Well....the new trans has been in for about 3 weeks now and other than my noisy exhaust the car has been running like a trooper. However, this morning on my way to work my car startrd acting up again? Whats happening is I will be driving along fine and with no warning the car will start stumbling badly enough to want to try stalling. This goes onfor a few seconds with me feathering the pedal frantically trying to keep it running and then everything is fine again. Update: mostly happening under around town driving conditions. Have replaced the ecm, ect, plugs are fine, wires are good. Could not drive to work this morning because problem went from 2-3 seconds to being almost non stop. Limped home, started car 10-15 mins later and it fired up and idled fine? I'm guesing fuel pump or ignition module, if anyone has a better gues please speak up as this is my only car and I need it to be functioning.

Wedge. :mad  :cry  :mad

Check ECM codes, and check fuel pump pressure. How do you know plugs and wires are OK? Recently replaced?

Yes the plugs are good and the wire are fine, hood open with car running last night and there was no arcing to be seen. As far as the ECM, it's been changed(I did that first) and I did the ECT also. Oh and I also changed the injector driver/module.

Unplug injectors and check resistance. Unplugged injector shoul read 16-17 ohm's.

This is my reply from the crossfire website, thanks to those of you who replied.

Wedge.

At 10 am Saturday morning I went out and fire up the car.......it started but would not idle oh F@#k.. There I am thinking I just blew $80 bucks on a fuel pump for nothing. On my third or fourth(can't remember)attemp at trying to get it to stay running the idle picked up and the car warmed up like normal. Having driven around town at all speeds and braking possibilities the car seems to be fine. I just hope this was the problem and it isn't lulling me into a false sense of security!!!!!
P.S. Thanks for everyones help on this one, hopefully I can return the favour someday.
