My GS has recently developed an intermittent power interruption. Little history-had PS pump and rack problem. Pump and rack replaced (local performance shop-I didn't want to deal with it at the time). Car wasn't driven much until last week. While driving home the display blanked (digital and analog (at least the tach. dropped to zero, don't recall if the other analogs zero'd), stereo interupted and the radar detector blanked. Was very brief. First thought was a loose ground. Looked at the obvious culprits (didn't get under the car to look at the final ground connections at the back of the engine block). Didn't find any loose grounds or connections. Drove car this A.M.-car idled a little rough and a little low on the RPM side-no power interuptions. Drove car this P.M.-2 intermittent power drop outs however idled smooth and at normal RPM's.
Kind of puzzled at this point-seemed like an intermittent ground interruption but the rougher than normal idle this A.M coupled with the low RPM's is causing me to wonder what is really going on. Damn, I hate intermittent problems-particularly the electronic gremlin type!!
Any other ideas or possibilities-seems interesting that it started after the pump and rack removal/re-installation but maybe that's just a coincidence>?
