Default Hard starting 87

Hard to start but when I keep it floored it will finally start .Takes a few moments to idle properly.I can hear the fuel pump for a few seconds as I turn the key.I put a fuel pressure gauge on and see 39-42 lbs when I turn on.
It will stay in that area while it runs .When I turn it off I notice that with in 2 minutes it will go down to zero. I check the oms on 2 injectors and read 15.9. I notice a tiny bit fuel in front of the distb. on the rear of the manifold .
Is it flooding some how?

Pull the vacumm line off the FPR and look for fuel. And smell your oil.

Yes - Do your very best to run the car as little as possible until you replace the regulator and change the oil. In fact I wouldn't even start it again if it were me.

Default gas in FPR

Ok wow, so I got a bad FPR. Thanks. I 'm glad I know now. Before I start it again I will put a new FPR and change the oil and filter. It has always started right up until recently . I'll take care of it asap.
