installed GM LT4 roller rocker kit
I have the valve lash set but the valve covers won't go on. I think the tabs in the valve covers aren't clearing the new rockers. Should I try to remove the tabs from the valve covers or do I need LT4 rocker covers?

You should be able to just grind down the drip tabs and you'll be fine. Using a dremel tool or a die grinder will do the trick. Just be sure and clean out all of the debries when finished. You don't want any of that crud floating around in your motor.
