good morning all. I am really considering removing all the emissions stuff from my 85 corvette. Looking at it i am confident it is not working. The egr valve has beeb removed. I understand the air pump will stay for the serpentine belt. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance.

I'd keep the charcoal canister if the car is parked in the garage.
Besides, running a vented gas cap will trigger a check-engine light.
You can vent it to atmosphere or plug it up.
Sure it will. If the car is way newer, that is. My 91 can run all day long with the gas cap off and nothing will happen since there is NO sensor. If I don't have a sensor there, $20 says he don't either. Not that the factory has installed, that is.
