Dash headlight asr and dimming switch

Is The 92-93 switch # 10089500 the same as the 94-96 switch as far as the plug connectors? I assume the only diffeerence is the yellow color of the faceplate compared to white of the 94-96..

I just tested a 96 switch in my 91. Of course I had nothing to plug into the ASR connector. Otherwise it was a technically perfect fit so I'd say the only difference is the faceplate.

Dino's corvette is asking 125 for the 92-93one and ebay has the 94 to 96 for $ 69. So I am thinkg that I can hust switch out the internal guts out. Main plug than fog lamp switch on the bottom and asr on the top.

Yeah, that's also why I bought the 96 switch when I thought the 91 was faulty. Here's a pic, left is 96, right 91. Led color was different and ASR added to 96 but would've been easy to change the faceplate.

On the led lights it is just a yellow rubber sock that fits over the bulb. Not sure if that little sock is available to purchase or not as one ripped when I was putting on a new bulb. That bulb is the same as the one in the vanity mirror on sun visors.
