Default T56/LS3 Swap kit options?

I've seen a few LS3 swaps done, even some using a T56, all of them make mention of a Pro Street adapter, however I can't find any website or place to purchase said adapter.

Did they go out of business? Does anyone offer complete kits for installing an E-ROD with a T56 into a C4?

Well yes, that has the LS3/T56 but no specific C4 swap components.

I've seen some LSX swap parts put out by various companies, but none that have anything to do with a T56 or even manual trans, only automatics.

Just an FYI , the aftermarket T56 Magnum is a large body trans and will require some mods to the body. We have a Tremec TKO 5 speed kit for C4 which is good for 600ft lbs of torque.

Will this fit the LT or just the LS?

It's still amazing that there aren't better options for the zf6 that comes with the car.

That one mentioned above sounds nice (TKO500)
Sure theres a bellhousing and clutch combo that will work with either
T56 is a huge trans and that .050 6th to me is almost useless unless the motor is very close to stock

The T56 linked with the E-Rod motor looks t be a GM T56, not a Magnum. I had very little problem fitting a T56 to my L98. I can't seem to find a link to Pro Street Customs either. But the mount isn't rocket science. If you search out the various T56 threads here for pictures, and measure up your T56 and C-Beam, you should be able to duplicate it.

I don't think Pro Street Customs site is active any longer... try calling Tom on one of those old fashioned telephones (216) 316-9812

TKO 5 speed trans will fit with very minor mod to top of trans tunnel. Can be used with LS motor,SBC,BBC or LT motor. The T56 will require mods to the whole trans tunnel and floor.

TKO will probably have ahigher rating than the T56
The best one during the Fbod yrs I believe was 450 lbs tq which probably means a littl more. Problem is parts are coming from god knows where and going up. Id go TKO personally no fitment issues a huge plus. The T56 is giant. If you go to upgrade the strength of them hello $$$

That is a lie. My Lt1 T56 fit into my auto car with just modification to the top of the tunnel for the shifter. Even fit with a stock auto driveshaft to D36.

This. I belive the T56 magnum is a different story though. From what I remember reading, it would require clearancing the tunnel.
