Default ride control makes no difference

my selector switch seems to make no difference in how the car rides, I checked the fuse (#21, 10amp) it's good and listened for any niose from the front shocks as someone moved the switch but all is quiet. How do I proceed to verify that all is well or am I just expecting too much.

Mine makes a huge difference. Seems I read somewhere that when the system fails it will stay in whatever mode it was in when it went bad, no matter where the selector switch is at.

In your idiot cluster there should be a service ride control light. See if that comes on when you first turn on the key. If it doesn't somebody has probably removed the bulb. The system is expensive to fix so somebody might have just removed the bulb on ya.

In my case mine doesn't work and I've been spending money on other things. I don't want to remove the bulb though because if I do I might forget about it.
