90 A/C Help needed

90 A/C Help needed
My A/C started to not blow as cold as it should , took about a month for it to quit , bought a change over kit to 134 , have loaded the system but the compressor does not cick in , checked the wires to the compressor and it does not seem to be getting power , also when I first start the car the green lights above the A/C dash controls flash for several min.
If you can't help maybe you know of a good A/C shop in the Ocala FL. area as we are new here !!

Hello,
Do you have the C68 electronic control option? If you do, the software will prevent A/C on when cycle counts exceed desired number.
To clear, remove battery cable, wait around 30 seconds, connect. Wait two minutes. The two minute wait, (actuallly 1 minute 40 seconds in some texts) is for the temp control motor to travel and recalibrate the system.
Now, start the car. Note if the display is flashing. This indicates "low freon" and should set a C68 code 09 if still present.
The Nippendenso (sp) tend to wear out the front seals and develop slow leaks. Let us know what works.

Disconnected the battery last night , hooked it back up this morning and turned on the [B]cold[B] A/C :D
I know I will need to get someone to find the leak for me down the road but this should buy me some time !
