Default Codes For service soon

Hello, I pulled a code off my 87 corvette but im not sure what it means. I short the A/B connector pins and receive the 3 code 12's followed by 4 short flashes, long pause, 4 short flashed.... so if someone could direct me to what code this is that be great.. thanks or I may have a tech 1 back at the old mans house. but let me know, Thanks!

When you saw the 4 flashes, was there a short pause between them? A long pause is indicating that whatever error code is present, it is a repeat. Could the flashes actually be a "22" which would be two quick flashes, a very short pause, and two more then repeating that twice more? There is no code "4".

I'd say Code 44
Lean Exhaust present
44 Check wiring.connectors at Oxygen sensor. Check fuel pressure. Replace Oxygen sensor.

Check the site

I don't do YouTube so I didn't check out the video - didn't see the NEED. I thought the OP likely had a 44 all along. It certainly seemed to be - I kinda ignored the OP's post originally when he apparently mention Father as "old man" - that doesn't cut it for me.

Sounds like Code 44 without looking at the video. O2 sensor.

If you have not put your headers on yet, it would be a good idea to replace the OE part with a 3-wire heated one.
