Laptop Diagnostic connection ?
I recently purchased a Cable and software (for sale)from a fellow Forum Member. He had a 94 and I have a 92. Apparently the connectors for the ALDL have changed between those years because it does not fit. Any suggestions on what I should buy and where ?

If the connector is different, you probably have an ODB2 connector, in which case it would be for a 95. All ODB1 connectors have not changed. Wiring is different for different models, but the connector is the same.

In checking my notes, it looks like some of the 94's did come w/ the ODB2 hybrid PCM's.
Either way, it should be just a matter of changing the connector to an ODB1 type.
