Side mirror overhaul?
the bracket that holds the motor assembly has broken. so I have gotten a replacement . How do I remove my mirror so I can put it on newer motor and bracket? The glass on the glass on the newer one was broken. Do the spinning motor drives just pop out?

Don't quite understand the problem. Do you want to pull the mirror glass off the mirror assembly. If so, you need to set or mirror to one side with the motor so you can get a good grip on the glass and just pull it off. It will make an unpleasant noise. Do search on this as I have only done this once, 2 years ago.
You may need a new trunion also ( sorry about the spelling) that holds the glass to the motor.
