All 4 brakes dragging
I have a 92 LT1 that had, what went from a bad wobble, to an intermittent vibration, after getting the wheels balanced, and new inner tie rods. I had already replaced the opti, thinking that it was the motor. That wasnt it but it was in pretty bad shape anyway. When the vibration starts, going to neutral didnt change anything either. Everything else checked out, except a small leak from the rack. What i have noticed is whenever the vibration happens, after I stop at a light or something, the car will not roll without throttle applied. Not a lot, but it takes some to get it move. When I dont have the vibration, releasing the brakes, starts a good roll. I thought it was just one caliper sticking, and I needed to start with a new brake hose, but i felt all the wheels today, after it happened, and every wheel would have burned my hand if I had left it on there. Just wondering where I should start, since reading has led me to believe it could be ASR/ABS, caliper, booster, master, etc, etc. I havent done any brake work on it yet. Thanks for any help, or a point in the right direction. I'm not afraid to put the time in researching, but everything seems to be related to front, or back. Not both. BTW, I am averaging 11.2 mpg per the dash reading.
