Default 1990 Rotors & Pads - Recommendations?

The time has come, I have to do pads, and from the looks of the rotors, those too.

I'm sure this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't find it, so here goes...

The car is not a Z51 (sadly...) so it just needs whatever the base car needs. I don't want colorful calipers, the factory units are fine and are not leaking anything. I don't want rotors that are cross drilled or channeled, solid is fine. I just want basic pads and rotors that won't warp under normal use. I don't race or autocross the car, it has 94K miles, and it is an automatic (rather have a manual, but liked the car and the price was right).

I'd like to spend as little as possible while still getting good quality. I generally stay with Delco for everything on this car, and may end up doing that for the brakes and rotors. Before taking that plunge, I'd like to know what others here have to recommend.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

EBC makes a very nice replacement rotor. I've used them on a variety of vehicles with good results.

If on a tight budget use Rock Auto but choose good quality parts, they have pad/rotor kits very resonable and good parts Powerstop.Seperate parts by ACDelco $150.00 pads+rotors and others ,discount with code(lookup on line),Best prices.

I have used both AC Delco and Raybestos rotors and was very satisfied with them. I did use them for both autocross and track days and they did work fine. Neither brand was a drilled or slotted variety. If you search thru the Rock Auto site, look for the "Professional Grade" versions of each brand.

For pads, Hawk makes a very good ceramic pad that will give long life, very little (if any) dust and they are quiet. Also look at the AC Delco Advantage pads.

It would be a good idea to get new caliper guide pins and boots. These are cheap and available at just about any parts store. Also do a brake fluid flush using a good quality DOT3 fluid. Valvoline synpower, Castrol LMA or even the Ford HD Motorsports fluid will work fine for everyday street use.

Check the condition of the rubber flex lines too. If they are the originals, I would suggest replacing them.

Used Centric rotors and ceramic pads from Rock Auto. I think they were both in the "Daily Driver" price groupings. They have worked fine for the past two seasons.
