Transmission help.......
I had my Auto transmission rebuilt and I have tried adjusting the TV cable. The engine revs really high (not trying) before it will shift. What can I do to fix this. :confused: :mad

1. adjust / readjust TV cable
2. Car in park, engine at idle, rapidly manualy cycle the TV cable several times
if this does not help then the valve(s) is stuck, needs to be taken back.
had the same thing happen to mine on the rebuild. works fine now. Aperantly it is quite a common occurance.
