Default Want to elimnate air pump and all tubing, going to headers without air stuff

Want to rid my car of all air pump stuff and exhaust manifolds and I am going with headers without any of this on it, my question is has anyone done this and what size belt is needed now with air pump eliminated, also converting to carb too

Plenty of people do this, i believe you can just go down 2 inches in length. Really though, it would be best to have a pulley in that position, either by making your own braket with idler pulley or gutting your pump. It'll look like crap otherwise with the braket free floating.

also seen it done where the guy relocated the alternator to where the air pump was and went with a much shorter belt. Not sure how much fabbing is involved in this, but it gives a nice little spot to wedge a centrifugal supercharger
