A few years ago, the dash stopped working (except weirdly it would blink when the right turn signal was on) and eventually it was sent off to batee.com where it was fixed for the most part
since I reinstalled it, the tach hasn't worked correctly; its fine till the motor gets up to around 4000 RPM, then as I continue to accelerate it drops from around 4000 to around 0 over a second or so and then starts climbing back up seemingly as if once it hits 4000 rpm the value displayed on the tach is the current rpm - 4000.
The hockey stick and number readout agree on what the rpm is
Any idea what the problem is? Ecm sending the wrong signal?
