Default 1990 l98 hp

i think im going with a edelbrock top end kit 435 hp and that comes with carb. not going to use the ecm goinging back old school

Then you have a bunch of other changes to make that turns your car into a dune buggy.

Do an inventory of all the other systems that stop working with the dash display and go from there . If honesty creates dislike that is on your shoulders not mine.

In case you hadn't noticed, this Forum was created for, and is favored by Corvette fans. Why would you announce that you're planning to ruin a nice '90, unless you enjoy receiving lots of hate mail! By the way, I'd like to suggest that you learn how to spell, or type, or use caps where appropriate. Old school would be fine for that!

Dennis, you've posted 7 times and haven't issued/posted something particularly good yet. You need to read through this forum, looking for things like: the basics of a computer controlled engine, that your distributor ALREADY HAS a high energy coil, and why some knowledge and planning go much further than grunting about a 435hp carb kit. If you think it will net you about 190hp, you are wrong.

It seems you have the new twinkle in your eye w/o much planning/thought in your head.

ddahlgren took the shortcut to posting what I said above.
