Will '92-'96 Pacesetter headers fit a 1990 L-98?
Hi guys,
I am having clearance problems with my clutch linkage with this 1990 L-98 while I am installing it into my 1972 Blazer 4x4. I was looking through the Eckler's Summer 2002 catalogue (page 98) and I saw the Pacesetter Shorty headers. Will these things fit a 1990 L-98? If so, my problems might be solved. Thanks for your input!!

I dont have a clue on clearance, but I have had a set of the pacesetter headers (got them at JC Whitney) on a ford pickup. They are junk!! Never would seal to the engine, and 1 even cracked at the tube after about 4 months of being on the truck. As far as bolting up to the engine, they should. People put L98 headers on LT1 engines all the time so the reverse should work.

So it is possible to put LT-1 headers on my L-98? Maybe I won't get Pacesetters but another type of shorty headers. Does JBA make any for the L-98 or the LT-1?

I think Zip sells JBA, but why are you trying to use corvette headers? Also hooker makes shortys
