Water Pump Mounting Question ????
My water pump gasket it seems(where it meets the block) dumped on me yesterday on my '90 L98(Luckily at the house) with a steady leak. So I'm just putting in a new one considering all the work involved, and I did something stupid and didn't notate the positions of the bolts and studs to mount them when I removed the pump. Looks like there are two bolts and two studs(bolt threads with a stud partway through it). I could have sworn from memory that the two studs were on the drivers side of the mount, but there was just so much to remove I wasn't thinking and when I look in my Chilton's now for 1990 VIN 8, it's showing what looks like the bolts on that side and the studs on the other(studs on passenger's side)?. Does anyone have any personal pics of theirs or knowledge of positions of the mounting order for the pump on a 1990? Or the service manual diagram for it? TiA.
