compressor not working in 92 6 speed

compressor not working in 92 6 speed
OK guys, my compressor quit working yesterday and I need help quick! I saw the older post dealing with a 90 model and got a little lost along the way. The #2 fuse in the fuse panel is fine, and the blower works fine as well. I pulled the swith off the low pressure line (big one) and jumped it with a wire and turned the key to on. Nothing. From there I kinda got lost in the earlier post (dealing with the 4 relays in the wheel well). From what I can tell, there is no signal getting to the compressor. What are the two leads going to it (ie the green and black wires), is one hot and one ground or what? Anyway, thanks for any help. And PLEASE try to keep a fix or check simple, I'm pretty good with everything but electrical.

Disconnect your battery for half a minute and see if it works then. Mine has been fixed this way more than once.

Quick question: What kind of control head do you have? Manual or Electronic?

You guys rock!!! :cheers: Shoulda known the ol control alt delete would work. Sorry it took so long to thank you...been kinda busy :sleep: Anyway, the car has the auto climate system and pulling the battery worked.
