Default 93 vs. 96 Vettes

Ok, I've seen some nice time slips from the 96 vettes running very low 13's stock. Yes it's an lt4 but even after my heads, cam , and other goodies I'm not running close to what they are running. I ended up with a 13.5 a few weeks ago on just engine. Are my gears killing me that bad? do I need to get a new computer chip burned from my last one? (check sig) A new stall converter and drag radials?

I can smell gas when I'm idling and it doesn't want to go when it's cold, just like when I swapped out the cam and before the chip. So I think it's running rich, but I'm not sure how much that would hurt me. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Well give me a little info if you don't mind.

1. What are the specs on the ZZ-9 camshaft?
2. What type of 60' times are you getting?
3. Do you have any dyno results?

Also if you have all of the timeslip information we can take a look and see if it seems like you are doing better / worse at certain parts of the track.
