Default 93 LT1 Misfire when cold

Car has always done it. Let me explain. It starts up fine cold, idles fine. But if I don't let the car warm up for a bit, it will misfire when I put in drive, with foot still on brake pedal. Put it back in Park or Neutral, it goes away. I noticed that if I let it warm up to 103 degrees, it won't misfire. But it doesn't do it when car is above that temp. I have replaced every ignition component in the car. But it's on LTCC now(taking ICM and coil out of the equation), with a new opti. Doesn't really bother me, as the car runs great. But now I'm curious. No MAF, it's speed density.

What are you guys thoughts?

Dirty or weak injectors talk to Jon at FIC.

I hope not, because I put some FIC injectors in it September 2015, even changed the fuel filter before doing so. But you never know. Thanks for the response.

Ok then I would watch my digital temp when warming up. Maybe a bad connection or sender.

OP - maybe contact a "moderator" and ask that your "TITLE" be edited to add "LTCC" to it. This is an instance where the older SCAN - TUNE section would work well. You can't edit the "title" but I'd think a Moderator would be happy to.

Something like this maybe "'93 LT1 w/LTCC COLD MIS-FIRE"

If it has always done it, even before your ignition repairs/upgrades I would be looking at fuel pressure.

I'll check the fuel pressure.

*You need to check it while your car is displaying those misfire symptoms*

I did when it misfired. There was a very small fluctuation. Maybe plus or minus 2 psi. But the miss clears it self pretty quick if I leave it in drive or reverse. Still, I'll give it time to warm up.
