Re: Who makes Corvette polyurethane engine mounts??? (dtorc4)
The Vette's drivetrain is suspended by the two motor mounts and the two diff carrier bushings. If you want to stiffen up the drivetrain, I'd start with the rear carrier bushings. Everything I've heard says the poly motor mounts transmit the motor vibes and noise to the chassis, it's tough on a daily driver. Solid mounts are track use only, you need to have some give in the drivetrain.
Summit don't have them. I ordered a set from them, had to return after intalled and taking them off two times tried to put the engine in the car. Ended up bought OEM mount from Jeff and changed out the old mount installed after I took the summit mount out. Total waste of time :mad
