High HP LT1 owners...
What oil pan are you using on your stroker, supercharged, or nitrous injected LT1? How many of you are still using the stock pan? What about windage trays, baffles, etc. ? Is it worth a few hundred dollars extra when doing a rebuild? Thanks for the replies.

When I had the occaision to replace the pan I just went with another stocker. I don't remember what the issues were, but I seem to remember that some who have gone aftermarket had some fittment issues.

I have the Canton 7.5 qt pan and use a high pressure high volume oil pump. You do have to modify the pan a little to clear the knock sensor on one side and you may have to modify the dipstick tube to fit the new pan properly, but that is just cutting it down a little. Other than that, it bolts right on and provides great peace of mind.
If you do any high RPM road racing, then I would definately suggest the bigger pan.
