anyone using a DFI Gen 7?
Just curious if anyone has one, and how they like it. My 7730 is being replaced with one. Not too sure if it totally comes out of the car. If so, it'll be for sale soon.

Do you know if the gen 7 can be piggybacked to the 730ecm? I wouldn't mind a 2 bar map system available with the gen 7; but I have to keep all the smog functions that are ecm controlled-cannister, diverter valve, egr etc. Thanks!

Check out the newest issue of GM Hight TEch performance. They ran the Gen 7 and the stock ecm to maintain control over the emissions equip.

Taking FOREVER!
I Didn't get it in yet. As you all know, I had a lifter collapse on me(bad ticking) and that process is taking longer than I expected. It's almost there....but of course the regulator had to leak fuel everywhere while adjusting the valves! I am going to beat this thing senseless when it's all together. It's been sitting nearly a month.
I did see the GMHTP. Pretty neat article.
I'll post back when it's in.

It's going in
The DFI is going in soon. The car was dropped off today :D
I can't wait to try it out with a new non-stinky idle mixture and wot settings. We went for a ride and could have killed a family of mosquitos at only half throttle. That'll be corrected I'm sure. :smash:
