electrical problems need help on how to start!
while in the garage working on something else i heard a relay or circuit breaker "pulsing" every couple of minutes. once it had my attention, i narrowed it down to something near the fan or fuel pump relay.
how should i determine what is "pulsing" and what is causing it?
have had a couple anamolies lately and this might be (or lead to) the root cause.

Year of your car would be?
The place to start would be to pull the fuse one at a time till you do not hear the clicking anymore

Do you know the charging state of the battery? On some years, when the battery gets low, some relays for various lighting systems, or other circuits, will start cycling 'cause there is not enough power to keep the relay engaged. Not sure about 84's. Were the doors open?
