The silver hood is in the wheel well area the purple hood is over the front of the engine.
Maybe the purple hood would offer more cooling benefit?
Tough choice either way. Might be a little easier if you photo shop them the color and body style of your own car.

Thanks for the reply, the purple on does seem like it may cool a little better and with the cowl Ill have a little more room. Which ones looks best to you?

Im more partial to the silver one, the purple one seems to have to big a bulg on the front of the hood.

Personally I think that given the choice of the two hoods, the purple one is more stylish to me. It looks like less of an 'add on' than the silver one does.

My opinion.

Dont do it. Those both have horrible fitment and take another 1500 in body work to make them right.

Hire someone to mod your stock hood or get a toledo.

There was someone on here that had a thread on the carbon fiber version of the silver one, It may have been from the same company, had fitment issues. do a advance search you may find it.

If you like the silver one better, just install vents in your existing hood. Personally, I'd be leary of fitment for any aftermarket hood (including the toledo -- now made by ACI) unless/until you have feedback that it's fitment is good. IOW, I'm not sure ACI has made...or is as good at the "former" Toledo Pro model. At least it should be the same molds...since ACI bought them. And, since ACI doesn't get bad quality reviews, that's one piece of logic/thought to conclude quality may be as good.

Toledo Pro HAD good fitment. (I know because I have one). The other manufacturers (prior to 2010) didn't. I've not stayed up with current quality so today's manufacturers may be a different story. Though it's easy to conclude that a C4 hood is about the hardest fiberglass part there is to make!!!

That said, I like the purple one better. More interesting AND, with a hi-rise, provides the option to install a Stealth Ram.

There have been 2 threads that I recall. Both had terrible fitment with unfixable gaps without fiberglass work.

That one was even worse. It is cheaper to have a fiberglass show mod a stock hood.

I don't care for either one BUT, if I had to chose, the purple one looks much less "busy" and simple is always better.

Of the two I'd go with the purple. But duraflex doesn't have a good reputation for fit. There stuff tends to take a lot of fitting.
