Hello everybody!
My name is Jerry, and I just joined the forum today after realizing that most of my online searches about my car lead me straight here. I figured I should become a member myself. I currently have a 1993 Arctic White LT-1 targa top Corvette, although I have it up for sale currently (I'm looking at C-5's). I always wanted a Corvette, and I've enjoyed this C-4 since 2015. I'm hoping this forum will help me understand current issues I'm having with this car so I can deal with them. The car is strong and it runs and drives, but it has 149,000 miles on it, and from what I can tell, a bit of a sketchy history. I'm also experiencing some ECM issues, as the car cuts off with the "tap test" sometimes. The speedo runs 20 to 30 mph fast as well. I'm at a point where if I pay to have much more done with this car, I'll have nothing for the new car if I trade or sell this one. It seems to me from what I've researched that C-4's are not yet worth sinking thousands into for restoration. Any guidance anyone can offer on my attempts to sell this car and buy a C-5 would be much appreciated. It is nice to know I have other people I can count on out there. Thanks again!

You will get a better response by posting in either the C4 or the C5 section. Good luck
The 92-93 ECMs are notorious for ECM issues with cold solder. joints I sent mine out to SIA and they repaired it for a reasonable price and it has been solid ever since.
