Do a forum "archive" search on Vanderzanden. Not very good from what I've read in the past.

He has nothing to do with the headers,he does not manufacture them. They are either Hookers or Hedmanns, depending on what the guy purchased. ordered. The only way to properly install the exhaust is to deposit it in the nearest dumpster.

Fastguy, if the headers are Hooker or Hedmanns why a fitting problem? I read your post about your trobles with him. I'm not looking at the system just used headers for $100. I think used Hookers or Hedmanns for $100 is not to bad a deal.

I guess it depends on who you're giving your money to. They're cheap for a reason.

If those headers are coated then $100 isn't a bad deal at all. I bought a brand new set of Hedman non-emission headers for $109 from Summit. It cost me another $200 to coat them inside and out.

Well if the headers are used for $100 its a rip off. You can buy brand new Heddman headers for a C4 vette from summit for $100 all day long.

Unless the ones for sale are Hooker Super Comps that are coated it's not worth it.

Hookers and Heddmans are two different companies, therefore, they are different sizes and end in different places at different angles. Brand new Heddmans, which is what it sounds liek you are looking at, are around $100 from Summit and will come with new gaskets and bolts.

Jeffvette, I lost your IM sorry. To answer your question the person selling the headers is someone I know in PA.
The headers were installed but the car was never run with them on so they might as well be new, they come with the colectors but not the bolts. They are Headmans I know every one recommends the Hookers or the more expensive one, sorry I dont have $800 for stainless ones. I'm going to see if he will come down some since you can get them from Summit for $100-$109.
